Domenic Bravo Appointed Association Secretary of Destinations International Executive Committee

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — July 24, 2026 — Destinations International announced the appointment of Domenic Bravo, executive director of the Wyoming Office of Tourism, as Association Secretary of its Executive Committee for 2026-27. The appointment was formally approved by members during the association's Annual Business Meeting this week at the Destinations International Annual Convention.

Bravo's appointment brings Wyoming's perspective to the organization's highest level of volunteer leadership and strengthens the state's voice in conversations shaping the future of destination management and the travel and tourism industry.

Destinations International (DI) is a global resource for tourism professionals by educating, equipping, empowering and connecting its members to better fulfill their missions and achieve positive results around the world.

As Association Secretary, Bravo joins DI's Executive Committee, where he will oversee governance, policy and strategic planning alongside an international board of 34 industry leaders. Bravo brings decades of public-sector experience, strategic vision and a commitment to sustainable destination management at the local, state and national levels, while bringing a critical perspective from a rural Western state to global industry leadership conversations.

“Destination organizations play a vital role in fueling local economies, preserving natural assets and enhancing quality of life for residents,” Bravo said. “I look forward to working alongside my esteemed colleagues around the globe to champion the value of travel, support industry innovation and build stronger, more resilient communities.”

Bravo was appointed executive director of the Wyoming Office of Tourism by Gov. Mark Gordon in late 2025. His career spans deep leadership in outdoor recreation and tourism administration, including serving five years as president and CEO of Visit Cheyenne, 11 years as administrator of the Wyoming State Parks and Outdoor Recreation Division, and helping establish the University of Wyoming's Outdoor Recreation & Tourism Management degree program.
